LifeCycle by LifeMed
Recover value from the equipment you are replacing.
LifeCycle is the lifecycle side of LifeMed Safety. We buy, grade, refurbish, and resell used equipment, and we take trade-ins against new purchases — so an agency replacing a monitor is not also stuck disposing of one.

Replacing one unit should not create a second problem.
The equipment budget is a board decision, and the unit you are retiring still has value in it. Plenty of suppliers will sell you the new monitor and leave the old one on your hands.
LifeCycle is the other half of that transaction. What you are replacing becomes credit against what you are buying, and equipment that still has service life in it goes to an agency that needs it.
Two ways this works
Trade in what you are retiring, or buy used
Trade-in credit
Trade in the equipment you are replacing and put the credit against the new purchase. Trade-in credit is one of the mechanisms we quote to, alongside purchase orders, cooperative contracts, and grants — so it can be part of the same written quote you take to your board.
Tell us what you are retiring when you request a quote, and we will tell you what we can do with it.
Request a QuoteGraded used equipment
Graded, inspected used equipment, with its service history attached. It is the same equipment we service, bought and resold by the people who maintain it — which is why the record can come with it.
Ask for used or refurbished equipment on the quote form and tell us what you are trying to cover.

Used equipment is only a bargain if you know what you are getting.
Sales and service are the same operation here. Through ProTek by LifeMed we perform the preventive maintenance, inspection, calibration, and repair, and we keep the service record for the life of each unit. That is what makes a service history something we can attach to a unit, rather than something you have to take on faith.
One company, one record, one number to call — whether the unit came to you new, used, or as a trade-in against something else.
See how service and records workWhat stays on file, for the life of the unit
- A written service report for every job
- The PM date and the next-due date
- Any parts replaced
- The calibration record, where calibration applies
Retained and retrievable on request — so when someone asks you to prove it, you can.
Before you replace anything
Sometimes the honest answer is not "buy new"
-
OPTION 01
Repair what you have
If a unit is worth repairing, we would rather tell you that than sell you a replacement. A repairable unit going back into service is not an unplanned capital purchase.
-
OPTION 02
Plan the replacement
Plan and budget for what to replace, and when. Knowing which unit is next means you take it to your board on your schedule, instead of after a failure.
-
OPTION 03
Trade it in
When replacement is the right call, the unit you are retiring becomes credit against the new one. We would rather give you a straight recommendation than sell you the wrong work.
