About LifeMed Safety
The people who quote your equipment are the people who service it.
We help rural and frontier EMS agencies stay ready with the right equipment, dependable services, and practical support.
You are deciding whether to trust a supplier with equipment that has to work the moment it is needed. Here is what we actually do, so you can judge that for yourself.
What we do
Readiness is the point. Everything below is a way of getting there — cardiac monitors and defibrillators, AEDs, ventilators and airway management equipment, suction units, cots and patient transfer equipment, and the accessories and consumables that keep them in service.
Sales and service are the same operation. Through ProTek by LifeMed we provide preventive maintenance, repair, inspection, and calibration, and we keep the service record for the life of each unit. Through LifeCycle by LifeMed we buy, grade, and resell used equipment and take trade-ins against new purchases, so an agency replacing a monitor is not also stuck disposing of one. Both are LifeMed — one company, one record, one number to call.
Who we work with
Rural and frontier EMS agencies — chiefs, directors, and the fire chiefs who carry EMS alongside everything else. Volunteer and combination departments, small municipal agencies, and the critical access hospitals that back them up. These are the agencies most suppliers treat as an exception, and understanding them is the whole point of how we operate. We help identify the funding mechanisms your procurement process can actually use.
Where we work
We are based in Loveland, Colorado, and provide direct sales and service across Colorado, Idaho, Utah, Wyoming, Montana, Nebraska, and South Dakota. If you are outside those states, call us anyway — we will tell you honestly whether we are the right fit.
What you can expect
A straight recommendation in writing, including when the answer is "not yet." A written service report on every job, with the PM date, the next-due date, parts replaced, and the calibration record — retained and retrievable on request.
