Ventilation & airway management

Transport ventilation and airway management.

For prehospital and interfacility care. We help you specify what fits the calls you actually run — not the calls a catalog assumes you run — and we keep the equipment calibrated and documented once it is yours.

Quoted for public procurement · on-site and depot service across Colorado, Idaho, Utah, Wyoming, Montana, Nebraska, and South Dakota

What this category covers

Transport ventilation and the airway management equipment that goes with it, for prehospital calls and for interfacility transfers. For a lot of rural and frontier agencies those are two quite different jobs done with the same equipment, and the specification has to survive both.

Long transports are where this category earns its keep, and they leave no margin for a device that has drifted out of tolerance since the last time anyone checked. That is a maintenance question, but it starts as a purchasing question.

How we help you choose

What we weigh with you

Tell us what you run and how you run it. These are the things we work through before we recommend anything.

  • The calls you actually run Prehospital, interfacility, or both. The mix determines what has to travel and for how long.
  • Your transport distances A long transport leaves no margin for a device that has drifted since anyone last checked it.
  • Your protocols and training Capability nobody is authorised or trained to use is not capability. It is cost.
  • Your vehicles and your budget What mounts, what powers it, and what your board will approve.

A guide, not a catalog. You will not find a shopping cart here, and you will not be handed a spec sheet and a checkout link. Tell us what you have and what you are trying to do, and we will tell you what we would recommend — including when the honest answer is to wait, or to repair what you already have.

After the purchase

Calibrated, and recorded rather than assumed.

Through ProTek by LifeMed we verify that a device delivers what it reports, within the manufacturer's stated tolerances, and we record the result rather than just the pass. Preventive maintenance, inspection, and repair run through the same operation — on-site at your station, or at our Loveland bench.

If the nearest biomedical technician has historically been hours away, that is exactly the gap this is built to close. The record stays on file for the life of each unit and is retrievable on request.
