What this category covers
The batteries, cables, sensors, consumables, and accessories that keep the equipment in your fleet in service — across monitors and defibrillators, ventilators and airway, suction, and cots and patient transfer.
It is the least glamorous category we supply and the one that takes the most units out of service. A monitor with a dead battery is a monitor out of service, and when a monitor goes out of service, a truck goes out of service.

Found on a scheduled check, not on a call.
Inspection through ProTek by LifeMed is a structured check of a unit's condition and function — what is working, what is wearing, and what will need attention next. You find out while there is still time to plan for it, instead of finding out on a call.
Anything replaced is written into the service record for that unit, alongside the PM date and the next-due date, and stays on file for the life of the equipment. So the question of what wears out on your fleet, and how often, stops being guesswork.
